On the road again. Headed towards Lake City. One of my favorite places. Drive right by the Sand Dunes. Once was enough for me. Stopped at a favorite store of mine that sells local honey and honey products. Made it into Lake City at 5 ish. Stopped to see my friend Dave, who guided us to a store where we could rent kayaks, then he hooked us up with an amazing campsite right on the lake. It’s up on a bit of a hill, but we can take our kayak in and out of the lake at will. Kate baked us a yummy chocolate cake and we played games. So happy to be here!
