After wonderful cafe au lait and croissants (duh), we walked a bit of the city. We really hadn’t had much desire to spend a lot of time in Paris, but boy am I happy we spent more time than planned. It is vibrant, alive and beautiful. We met up with our new friends and security detail to see the landmarks. How lucky were we to have friends, translators, bodyguards and fun travel partners. We did Paris like locals do. We took the metro all around like pros. They have free metro passes and they got us in everywhere!
First up. Eiffel Tower.
Champ Elysees

Our boys’ boss (Sargent?) met up with us and he was amazing and wonderful as well. I feel like I have four new sons and forever friends. We had an unbelievable day and after promises to see each other again some day, two cheek kisses, and fond farewells, we said au revoir. Another perfect dinner at a very cute, very French restaurant, we retired to luxury once again.

I also have to share the adorable message we received from Clement, one of our new sons.
