The majestic mountain in front of us, the river behind us. We just couldn’t leave. We reserved another night here in our new Shang-ri-la.

 We went to Box Canyon Falls. The pictures don’t do it justice.

It was a short hike to the bottom of the falls and a longer more treacherous hike to the top. There is a bridge above the falls. Absolutely incredible! This was our magic today. 

And the other great news today: Kate baked us a chocolate cake! 

It was a rainy afternoon, perfect for a chill day. A movie in the RV, a bike ride to town, the best hamburger and French fries we have ever eaten (seriously) in our first restaurant of the trip, a stroll through the shops, frisbee after dinner, The Breakfast Club and lights out. I am so very lucky.
