This is the queen reporting from Landgoid Duin & Kruidberg estate in northern Holland. This property has changed hands many times over the past 400 years, but the most noble hands were of King William III of England in 1682. The weather is perfect, my grounds are immaculate, my chefs are aproned up and ready to sauté and the rosé is chilled to perfection. King Marco has procured is this amazing property to celebrate our second anniversary. Let’s walk through this day together, shall we?

For two months of the year, this country eats big, fat white asparagus. It melts in your mouth.

It was truly a visit fit for a king and queen. I shall never forget it.
