Woke up early to a beautiful day. Made a pot of French press coffee for me, and as I promised last night, I made a pot of percolated coffee (in my Colette Bozeman) for Cor and Marian. I said goodbye to my new Dutch friends with three cheek kisses (right, left, right). We exchanged contact info and promised to cross paths again someday. Then….the clean out. I cleaned and reorganized every cabinet, redecorated the bathroom (as best I can) Installed a new shower head and water filter and popped the champagne.

Time for dinner of rosemary ham, wild mushroom and truffle ravioli, with a healthy helping of aged Gouda cheese.

Currently in my comfy bed with my great grandmas hand made quilt.

What an amazing day. I love when I don’t have to remind myself to be grateful. Some days it just comes naturally.
