Today started out with wine tastings. First up was the most beautiful winery, Azura. Stunning property and wonderful owners. Actually, all the winery owners were fantastic people. While I can’t say I loved all the wine, I did buy a bottle from each of the three I visited today. My next stop was the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nat’l Park. Wow. Spectacular! From there the gravel road led me to my favorite part of the trip so far…Lake City. I can’t begin to tell you how much fun I had and the truly wonderful people I met. One of them is the mayor of Lake City who went to TJ! And a couple of which will be my friends for life.
